Weekly Leagues

Monday Learn 2 Curl / Novice League

• An expanded and improved format for this season!
• Brand-new or rusty curlers will learn fundamentals and transition to league play by the end of the session
• Runs from 7-9 pm on nine Monday nights
• Session 1: Oct 19-Dec 15

Tuesday Ladies League

• Beginners to experienced curlers are welcome in this inclusive social league that is moderately competitive
• Starts at 7 pm; 7-8 ends played (~2 hours)
• Register as an individual or with friends – the league coordinator will make teams at the beginning of the season

Tuesday & Thursday Mixed Day League

• For all levels of curlers who want a social, mildly competitive atmosphere
• Starts at 10 am; 8 ends played
• Register as an individual – the league coordinator will make teams at the beginning of each half-season
• This league plays twice a week, so register for the Fall (Oct-Dec), Winter (Jan-Mar), or both!

Wednesday Night Mixed League

• Teams of men and women in a friendly and moderately competitive environment
• Starts at 6:30 or 8:30 pm; 8 ends played
• Team registration is encouraged, but individual registrations are welcome

Thursday Night Open League

• Teams of all compositions are welcome to join this competitive league
• Starts at 7 pm; 8 ends played
• Team registration is encouraged, but individual registrations are welcome

Friday Recreational League

• Everyone is welcome – no experience is required to join this fun, social league with very mild competition
• Music is played in the rink while you curl!
• Starts at 6 or 8 pm; 6 ends played
• Team or individual registrations are welcome
• *If more than 16 teams register, teams will be asked to play 1 or 2 games on a Saturday around noon

 

Pricing

• GCC membership (includes required Curl BC and Curling Canada memberships) is required of all curlers: $55
• Regular Leagues (Tues, Wed, Thur Nights): $306
  • Friday Recreational: $281
  • Tues/Thurs Day League: $306 per half-season
• 2^nd League discount: Save $75
• 3+ Leagues discount: Save $155
• Learn 2 Curl: $150 for one session; $250 for both (includes GCC membership & a set of grippers)
• Sparing: $15 per game for members not in any league (tax included)

**GST (5%) will be added to all fees.
